Makita Cordless Power Tools

Are you interested in some Makita cordless power tools?  Having to deal with cords can be a nuisance, not only that, but they can impede your ability to do your job properly as well.  There are also certain advantages to being able to take a power tool wherever you please, even if there is no electrical socket nearby, it’s better to take the tool to the work than the work to the tool sometimes.

With all this in mind, here’s a look at some Makita cordless power tools you may want to consider picking up at some point:

1.  Bare-Tool Makita BJV180Z 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Jig Saw

If you’re looking for Makita cordless power tools, you may want to consider getting a jigsaw first.  This one costs $191.25 without a battery, it yields 0-2,600 strokes per minute and has a built in LED to illuminate the area you’re working on.

The cuts are good with this, it’s got a good weight to it and allows for easy control of the tool.  This even has a dust blower to help keep the target zone clear of debris.  This is a great saw to own and even better is the fact that there is no cord to pull around or have get in the way.  This particular model on Amazon has been rated 4.5/5 stars by 7 reviewers.

2.  Bare-Tool Makita BGA452Z 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless 4-1/2-Inch Cut-Off/Angle Grinder

Another one to think about getting is a cordless angle grinder.  This one doesn’t come with a battery and sells for $86.97.  It yields 10,000 RPM and lets you grind faster than 50% of most other machines.  It is also only 12 ½ inches long and weighs in at 5.3 pounds.  Make sure you not only get a battery with this one though, but also extra batteries as one reviewer mentioned it doesn’t  operate at full capacity when the battery is down low.

3.   Bare-Tool Makita BHP454Z 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless 1/2-Inch Hammer Driver-Drill

Again, this is a tool you will need to get the battery for separately, without the battery it costs $104.91.  This drill is quite the monster, it’s 18 volts and even comes with a side mounted handlebar, kind of like the rubber handle you find on bike handlebars, this thing is that powerful.  You get 560 in.lbs of max torque, 2 speed transmission of 0-400 or 0-1,700 and the device is 9 9/16” long and 4.9 pounds.

The weight of this thing compared to it’s power output is just awesome, a great tool.

There are many other Makita cordless power tools available, but these are some that are at the top of the heap.  If you’re looking for other Makita cordless power tools, do search around a bit more, there are several other good ones available.
